Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) successfully completed assembly and testing of its Protected Tactical Satcom Rapid Prototype (PTS-P) payload and delivered it to the company’s facility in Gilbert, Arizona, where it will be integrated with an ESPAStar-HP bus and next-generation digital processing subsystem.

Built in partnership with the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command, the company’s PTS rapid prototype delivers a modular, flexible and scalable system that offers a path toward fielding a next-generation anti-jam, protected tactical satellite communications architecture.

Northrop Grumman’s system provides a tailor-made dependable communications pathway for each user capable of fighting through adversaries’ attempts to disrupt connections.
