Astroscale France SAS, (“Astroscale France”), a subsidiary of Astroscale Holdings Inc. (“Astroscale”), the market leader in satellite servicing and long-term orbital sustainability across all orbits, announces Toulouse as its permanent location to develop innovative on-orbit servicing technologies. The company plans to set up satellite assembly, integration and testing facilities with space to hire up to approximately 30 personnel, while maintaining a smaller office in Paris for business development.

“We are very excited to join Toulouse’s vibrant and growing space ecosystem,” said Philippe Blatt, Managing Director of Astroscale France. “Toulouse offers a close network of potential clients, partners and supply chain, attracting high-quality talent from all over the country. We are eager to work as part of one of France’s strongest space economies and establish ourselves as a leader in the on-orbit servicing sector.”

In June 2023, Astroscale announced the opening of Astroscale France and a partnership with Centre National D’Etudes Spatiales (“CNES”) that includes a funded study for active debris removal of French space debris. In September 2023, Blatt was announced as the first key appointment for Astroscale France and will drive the growth by building a team that collaborates closely with CNES and other stakeholders, positioning France as an international leader in space sustainability.
